LAXMAN SIDDHA TEMPLE Rishi Peeth of Dehradun is one of the Chaurasi Siddhas of Rishi Dattatreya. It is believed that after killing Meghnad, Laxman, the son of King Dasaratha, wanted to get rid of the guilt of Brahmahatya, he chose this place for penance. He took the tomb here. Since then the name of this temple has been changed to Laxman Siddhapeeth Temple.
